ARCHITECTURAL CONCRETE EFFECT

Architectural concrete is one of the most frequently used decorative effect in construction. It is material allowing for creativity and providing a unique character to the room and facade.

Farby KABE offers products that allow to achieve extraordinary decorative effect. The concrete effect is available in a wide range of colours, and the most popular colours are: natural, grey, graphite and anthracite.

Products necessary to obtain CONCRETE EFFECT:

1. PERMURO GT primer for acrylic renders or ARMASIL GT primer for silicone renders.
2. Depending on the thickness of the decorative effect layer – KOMBI DECOR PRINT mineral mortar for decorative effects (for a thick layer) or ready-to-use modelled render – PERMURO T MODELOWANY or ARMASIL T MODELOWANY for a thinner layer (recommended in the colour of selected concrete)
3. ARMASIL F facade paint or AKRYLATEX facade paint in a selected colour from the Farby KABE’s architectural concrete effect collection/the gatefold with Farby KABE concrete effect collection. If the effect is applied inside the building, the AKRYLATEX W or PROLATEX latex paint should be used.
4. LAZUR Z/W lazure paint in the colour according to the gatefold with concrete effect.

Useful advice: We recommend to devide walls’ larger sections into smaller fragments that better reflect the concrete panel cladding.

It is possible to use a modelled render mass tinted in colours according to the gatefold with concrete effect:

– in the case of using the concrete effect in the external wall insulation system of the building, it is necessary to paint with AKRYLATEX facade paint and LAZUR Z/W lazure paint
– when using the concrete effect inside the building, there is no need to paint with AKRYLATEX W or PROLATEX paint and LAZUR Z/W lazure paint

Note: The external lazure paint coating emphasizes the decorative effect of architectural concrete and, above all, provides adequate protection against external conditions; therefore, the lack of this coating is incompatible with the system and results in the loss of the warranty.

The concrete effect can also be used on the façade with thermal insulation system:

ATTENTION! Please note that presented decorative effects depend on a large extent on the skills and experience of the contractor, therefore may differ from the presented examples of use. Farby KABE always recommends that the Contractor prepare a sample of a given decorative effect before starting actual work.
