Ready-to-use primer for interiors

Universal product based on waterborne acrylic dispersions, intended for the proper preparation of the substrate under finishing paint coatings, ceramic linings, floor toppings and flooring. It is used for priming all typical absorbent construction substrates to be found inside buildings. It is especially recommended for substrate priming before applying dispersion paints: PROFILATEX, PROLATEX, OPTILATEX, OPTIMA, PERFEKTA, MILAMAT and MARMURIT, MARMURIT COLORATO, MOZAIKER, MOZAIKER AKORD COLORATO mosaic renders.

To be applied on mineral substrates (such as concrete, cellular concrete, cement and anhydrite screed, cement plaster, cement-lime plaster and skim coats and drywalls).

Note: The product should not be used to prime the substrates of low wettability (such as top coats based on polymers or dispersion paint coatings).

• Reduces and equalizases substrate water absorbency
• Perfect penetrating properties
• Strengthens the substrate
• Reduces dustiness
• Improves finishing coating adhesion
• For mineral substrates

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION: Apply to a sound/stable and clean substrate (without cracks and delaminations), degreased, dry, and free of biological contamination or chemical efflorescence. In the case of fungal growth, the substrate
should be mechanically cleaned and then disinfect with an indoor fungicide. Discolourations, nicotine stains and efflorescences caused by water stains should be painted first with MILAMAT stain blocker. Any loose layers not bound to the
substrate (i.e. loose render or flaked coatings) should be removed. Old and/or dirty substrates should be washed off and degreased with water and CLEANFORCE cleaning agent. For uneven substrates, first use KOMBI FINISZ levelling
compound and then level the surface with PROFINISZ ready-to-use finishing compound. Small unevenness can be levelled out at once with PROFINISZ ready-to-use finishing compound. Absorbent substrates should be primed with
BUDOGRUNT WG before levelling compounds application. If product is applied on new mineral substrates (such as concrete, lime plaster, cement-lime plaster, cement plaster), seasoning of at least 2 weeks should be kept.

PRODUCT PREPARATION: The packaging contains a ready-to-use product.

APPLICATION: The product should be applied on the substrate in one or two layers (depending on the substrate water absorbency); by means of a brush, roller or spraying, by means of a ‘wet on wet’ method. Note: The applied product
should completely penetrate the substrate but at the same time should not create a tight coating on its surface (the so-called ‘film’) or stains.

DRYING: Typical drying time of a product applied to the substrate lasts approx. 3 h (20°C, 55% RH). Closed rooms should be aired after priming.

USEFUL HINTS: The application and drying of the product requires a temperature above +5°C. All tools to be cleaned with water after finishing work.
