Polysilicate renders (low alkali)
Polysilicate renders are used for manual / spray application of thin-coat renders outside buildings and finishing coats in EWI systems based on EPS. Polysilicate render is intended for mineral substrates as well as for substrates covered with a well-bound plastic-based paint coating and on surfaces with curved, irregular shapes (Novalit T Akord).
The main advantages of polysilicate renders:
– mineral character;
– low-alkali reaction;
– to be applied on both mineral substrates and polymer coated surfaces;
– high resistance to adverse atmospheric conditions;
– high dirt resistance;
– high vapour permeability;
– additional anti-fungal and algae protection;
– easy application.
